Sam is a first generation, Asian-American from South Seattle. As a result, he is keenly aware of the role of multicultural sensitivity when working with minorities and Asian-Americans. Prior to the counseling field, Sam worked as a broadcast journalist who researched, produced, and reported on a number of stories related to psychotherapy, relationships, addictions, and recovery.
